He and his wife Nell live in Dallas. They have been married 10 years. Nell is a retired registered nurse and has two daughters; one lives in Great Britain and the other in Seattle. WA. Wes has two sons, one living in Chicago and the other in Flower Mound.
Wes was a pilot in the Air National Guard, for years worked as a machinist at LTV in Grand Prairie, and retired in 1999 from PC technical support at a local funeral home.
His mother is a former pianist and organist in New Hampshire. His grandfather was a piano maker for Mason & Hamlin. Wes claims the genes were lost and he just plays the banjo for his own amazement
