Tyler is a true Musical genius who began as a Choir Member with perfect pitch at age 8.

He mastered the Bass in High School, winning many competitions with that instrument.

At age 12 he became interested in the Banjo and began studies under Buddy Griffin., quickly becoming so adept that he soon had gotten the attention of Buddy Wachter, who furthered his banjo talents.

He is now recognized as one of the best banjoist in the world, and is a headliner at most Banjo Festivals.

As a current student at the University of North Texas, in Denton, TX, he performs with various groups in the Dallas/Ft Worth area, including as a member of the Dallas Banjo Band.
