How To Use the Chord Charts
This far right Section of the Chart lists the various Moveable Chords for:
Majors, Minors, 7ths, and Minor 7ths
Under each Chord Form is the Name of the Chord that is represented by where the Index Finger is placed on the Frets of the Neck (the topmost Fret fingered in the Chord), i.e. the Minor 7th Chord Form, if the Index Finger is on the 5th Fret, would represent the Am7 Chord>
The various Moveable chord Forms are shown in the bottom/middle part of the Chart, with the "tonic" of each Chord Form shown in red, i.e. for the leftmost Major Chord Form, the "tonic" is on the 4th string (whatever note on the Fretboard is represented by the 4th String note in that Chord Form.
The Diminished and Augmented Chord Forms on the bottom/left part of the Chart are played with the Chord Forms shown. While multiple Diminished/Augmented Chords can be played with each Chord Form, i.e. the Diminished D,Ab,B, or F Diminished chord can be played with the top left Chord Form shown under the "Diminished" column (the Chord will "sound" OK for each ), however the "TRUE" Diminished Chord Form would be found when the "tonic" of the Chord Form is fingered on the Fret representing the Key desired (further down the neck).
The top/left portion of the Chart shows the "First Position" Chord fingering (not moveable).
Lastly, the Fretboard Single Note positions are shown on the Fretboard representation.
