Andy Canino
Andy
was born in New York City, attended City College of New York,
and
graduated with a BBA in Accounting.
He entered the U.S. Navy
upon
graduation and completed a 4-year enlistment. He later worked
in
various capacities at a major N. Y. bank, retired after 34 years, and
moved
to Texas.
He
lived in Richardson for 7 years, and then moved to East Texas. He
is
married to Mary and they have 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren.
Andy
joined the band in 1990 shortly after it was formed, and was the
band treasurer for several years. He plays a tenor banjo (guitar-tuned)
in the rhythm section. He loves to whistle and is featured whistling on
several songs recorded on the band CD’s and tapes.
